Overview

  • BNP Paribas (“BNPP”) is one of the largest European banks with ~178,000 employees present in 65 territories including Taiwan.  
  • BNPP in Taiwan was set up in 1981, and is running both CIB (Corporate and Institutional Banking) and WM (Wealth Management) businesses.  
  • Among BNPP Taiwan entities, under CIB business, we have BNPP Securities Taiwan which is running i) cash equity business and ii) market maker on futures and options trading activities.  
  • At BNPP Securities Taiwan, the COO team looks after all teams supporting this business from Operations to Finance. 
  • We are now looking for a dynamic and eager candidate to be our Project Management Officer (“PMO”).  The PM Officer reports directly into BNPP Taiwan Securities’ Chief Operating Officer. 

 

Position purpose 

The main purpose of this role is, in conjunction with the COO, to handle all the non-operational tasks, mostly on project mode such as: 

  • Outsourcing 
  • Business Continuity 
  • 1st Level of Defense controller
  • Corporate Governance.

 

Direct responsibilities 

  • Outsourcing: Ensure our BNPP outsourcing framework / lifecycle management is well deployed as well as local regulations are met on this matter
  • Business Continuity: Ensure our BNPP Business Continuity framework / lifecycle management is well deployed incl. BC procedures, assessments, testings etc. 
  • 1st Level of Defense Controller: Incident investigation, Risk control & assessments, Procedure updates etc.
  • Corporate Governance: Organization of BNPP Securities Taiwan Board meeting and compliance with relevant Corporate governance requirements. 
  • Other ad-hoc projects

 

Profile expected 

- 2+ year experience in securities, banking or big 4 accounting firms 

- Curious about finance industry, 
 - Be a solution provider, high work ethics and transparent  

- Fluent in Chinese and English
