The position at a glance

 The Business Presentation Specialist Intern will support Montreal Publishing Team within Global Banking Americas in designing powerpoint presentations and client pitches.


In detail

The Business Presentation Specialist will support different front office teams within Global Banking Americas:

  • Create and format powerpoint presentations, client pitches and other visual material according to the Brand and Communication guidelines, Publishing team guidelines; PowerPoint, Word and Excel templates and charter as well as client custom templates
  • Produce visually ergonomic, appealing, consistent material, when relevant and required make recommendations for visual edits
  • Simplify complex information in a well-structured and well-organized manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and high level of precision of processed/formatted material.
  • Research, brainstorm for new ideas and creative solutions for client pitches.
  • Assist in maintaining a library of presentation materials (template layouts / diagrams / icons / images / infographics / maps etc.)
  • Correct evident typos and spelling, ensuring changes are traceable


The strengths and skills that will help you succeed

 Eligibility: 

  1. Currently enrolled full-time in an accredited Canadian post-secondary program
  2. Must be able to work in the local premises 
  3. Be 18 and over
  4. Have at least one more semester left after completion of internship

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous similar Intern experience in a Banking industry or Consulting company experience is a plus
  • Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint skills are mandatory – including innovative ideas for layouts design, infographic data presentation, master template layouts etc.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign), MS Excel and Word is a plus
  • Fastidious attention to detail in all components of work
  • Excellent visual communication skills, interested in marketing and communication
  • Self-motivated, focused, rigorous & patient
  • Ability to prioritize, good organization and time management skills to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to communicate with the GBA teams with diverse backgrounds and work remotely from users, yet efficiently, independently and responsibly
  • Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of the English is required.
