Position Purpose
Run and develop the EQD franchise in Hong Kong and Singapore with distributors from private banks, consumer banks, retail, treasury and securities houses.
Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities
- Contribute in achieving revenue targets defined by EQD management
- Develop and retain client base
- Assist in daily tasks within EQD sales team
- Cover accounts at senior and working levels at the client when relevant, where specific content and relationship coverage is required beyond execution needs
- Be able to participate in client events and roadshows to ensure we deliver the right BNPP content to the right clients
- Able to drive and deliver project and platform development working closely with functions like IT, legal & Compliance, risk, structuring, trading and operations.
- Contribute to design product offering and platforms by interacting with internal stakeholders (structurers, traders, research, other métiers and functions within BNPP) partnering with clients to grow the business.
- Meet clients on regular basis
- Able work as a team player and foster the team spirits
- Able to provide guidance to more junior team members and help them develop required skills
Contributing Responsibilities
- Implement Global Markets EQD strategy
- Actively monitor all changes in regulation likely to affect our franchise and business
- Monitor productivity gains and automation projects that can help the business growth in a lean and efficient fashion
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
- Good technical knowledge in Equity derivatives and structured product business
- Good understanding of digital platforms and clients’ service level requirements
- Good understanding of regulatory environment in regards of Equity derivatives and Equities business
Specific Qualifications
- Degree holder
- 3-7 years’ experience in related business
